Pendant lights can be produced in a variety of metal finishes. D.Bianco creates Brushed Brass pendant lights by polishing and brushing natural brass, then applying a thin protective coating to prevent tarnishing.
D.Bianco also uses electroplating, a process where thin layers of other metals are deposited onto solid brass. This technique allows them to achieve finishes such as Satin Chrome, Satin Nickel, Dark Satin Bronze (Gunmetal), and Brushed Copper.

D.Bianco designs lighting by combining materials not traditionally used together—for example, braided rope with flexible LEDs, creating striking 3D glow effects as light passes through the material. Their handcrafted lights also feature solid brass, hardwood timber, and braided‑fabric‑covered flexible LED elements. These materials provide a premium combination of durability, warmth, natural texture, and high-quality illumination—perfect for design-forward interiors.
